Cardboard cuts are the worst. Both of my previous guides would do something similar if I hurt myself though the energy was different for both of them. My first guide Lanny was a worrier and thought kisses fixed everything. My second guide Vance had similar energy to Elton. That, "you okay, how can I help?" bounciness. Helicopter tail wag and all. 😆

I swear that I have cardboard paper cut ptsd from the time I wanted to buy a volleyball in middle school. I was with my dad, checking out every color, every brand, and I spotted this lovely, basic, black and white Nike volleyball. I grew up poor as hell and I thought this plain, logo sporting ball was perfect. Before I even knew if my dad’s dollars could afford it, I ran my fingers over the ball in adoration, just barely gliding beyond the cardboard confines of the box. Without even the slightest obstruction, the edge of that box licked a clean, bloody line from tip to knuckle of my left pointer finger. It was the deepest, most painful “paper cut” of my life. Never again do I let my fingers get close enough to boxes to inflict so much pain.

That sucks, I don’t get this outfit. Normally she looks very good, she doesn’t look like bad or anything it’s just very odd. I know fashion is varied but it’s so odd. The top looks almost exactly like a 1980’s old lady bra. Like if you had just shown me this picture and said $20 bet is she wearing just a bra on top I would have said of course but given she’s in public it’s likely not intended to be lime that. Also the very odd lace pants also scream old lady under garments from 1980. She can wear whatever she wants and she gets to pick whatever she likes but if I passed her on a sidewalk I would have definitely done a double take.

As a dog groomer, my suggestion would be to keep his leash tighter and keep him closer to you while someone else sprays, itll give him less room to move around. You can also kind of keep your hands on him to stop him from moving around too much. If you have a pitcher to be able to pour water, it might help him tolerate it better than a hose. Also as a friendly PSA, make sure you rinse really well. Leaving soap in their coat can give them skin irritation and a rash.

Service dogs act different. I have a mobility dog. When shes not working, shes a goofy typical dog. When shes working, she gets a "serious face" and super focused on me and her tasks.

I’m not even blind, just have terrible double and blurred vision (severe keratoconus), but I’m notorious for hitting my head on things. Cabinets, cupboards, fridge/freezer doors, storage units on planes or long distance travel busses.. it’s a good thing I have thick hair😭🙏

I don't have a service dog, my dog is so on top of the emotional support needs. Hes immediately there to try and help if i seem distressed. These dogs not only have a job to do, but they have a mission to accomplish. Theres a reason dogs make such good work companions, service dogs, military dogs, performance, farms. These dogs want to work and please their people.

Sighted people do things to mess up our nails, too.
